Alisdair Daines

Alisdair is a director of the practice and is supported by a team of dedicated staff. He has a Bachelor of Building Science and Bachelor of Architecture (hons) from Victoria University, graduating in 1984. He is a Registered Architect and an Associate of the New Zealand Institute of Architects as well as a member of the Sustainable Business Network.

In his spare time he is involved in sailing and has represented New Zealand at two Flying Dutchman class world championships. He also enjoys playing and listening to music, the odd mountainbike ride and is partial to a glass or two of our great local wines.

The practice boasts an extensive portfolio of work in commercial, domestic, tourism, hospitality, industrial, apartment and educational fields as well as expertise in feasibility studies and collaboration with larger out-of-town practices for large-scale projects.
